After rereading my post and the other responses, I realize I may have
come across as blaming Karen.  Far from my intent!  I was so taken back
that there wasn't some better form of follow up available or working.
If all she was allowed to do was phone follow-up, it was pretty much out
of her control.  I tend to look at where we would like to be with our
program and assume that others are at least where we are now.  In this
case, apparantly the hospital as well as the HCPs have a long way to go.
