Kate, this is exactly how I helped moms to understand that what was
going on wasn't right. Once they completely understood that there was no
way a c-section or some of the other types of delivery would be able to
take place without anesthia and whether they signed a paper at 3 mos, 6
mos or at that moment, it would be done - they realized how wrong it was
for this person to imply that if they didn't schedule this appointment,
the mom wouldn't get anesthia and perhaps that is what has ended the
problem, perhaps one too many moms complained about the tactic.
