Hi all,

Since the new Dutch bf rates are published I am thinking about the reason
why the bf rate at 3 months is dropped so dramatically. I think the reason
the authors gave (the number of working mothers is increased) isn't
satisfactory, since other research show that working mothers tend to nurse
more than SAH women (though when it is corrected for educational level of
the women, this difference disappears, and then the SAH mothers show to
have a sligthly higher rate of bf).

Now my question: is there any research about the reasons why women wean
their baby? I would like to investigate the issue.

Thanks!
