That is such an interesting case. I would think that this guy has a
headache...from the cephalohematoma.

The suctioning might have caused this type of aversion, and I would also
look for other causes of pain.....a good examination from a pediatrician is
in order, if it has not been done.  I appreciate the comments of others on
this case, and agree with them for the most part, but I have seen babies use
a nipple shield in this case with good success.

I would offer it to the mother, and I would also offer her some other way of
feeding besides an eye dropper, which is too time consuming for many new
moms, in my opinion.

Flow behind a nipple shield, via a syringe or a supplemental feeding device
of some sort,  might also do the trick.
