You know, this could be a perfectly normal growth pattern for this baby!
Sorry if this has already been mentioned, I am a few days behind.  Even my
son that was weaned at 9 months and then formula fed was only 22 pounds at 2
years!  All our ped said was that if he wanted ice cream, give it to him!
He's 4 now and has caught up to about 35 pounds, but he is very lean.  Wears
a 5T slim jean and doesn't have to unsnap them to pull them down to go potty
(now he would get on my case for sharing that! lol).  The point is, if this
baby is happy at the breast and hitting all other milestones, then maybe she
is just a thin child. And someone PLEASE tell me why the dr. would say not
to nurse after midnight?  I thought the idea was to get this child to have
more calories!
