I am meeting with Maternal Fetal Medicine Docs in 2 weeks to discuss a protocol for antenatal expression.  They are on board we just need to finalize our procedures.  In my mind the Docs will refer moms to me for an education session to review how to hand express and the protocol for prenatal expression.  I'm wondering where moms get the syringes to store their milk?  Ideally, I would like to provide them, but I'm not sure how the hospital will feel about me giving away supplies.  I've read various reports about how long you can use 1 syringe.  Anywhere from 1 per expression to the same syringe for 48 hours.  If we start around 35-36 weeks, that could potentially be a lot of syringes and caps.  Also at what point, if any, does an electric pump become part of the protocol?  For those of you who have a prenatal expression program, how do you do it?  Is anyone willing to share their policy?
