Hi,

A number of mothers who were put on medication immediately after birth for
lowering high blood pressure have called me to check out the safety of
taking this sort of medicine. Can anyone give me an answer to this
question?

One mother was told by the nurse who checks her baby's weight gain that the
medicine will thin her milk and her baby will not gain well thus she needs
to give formula. Any knowledge about the effect on breast milk?

Thanks.

Devorah
