Dear Attie,

Fenugreek is from the family "leguminosae" and the subfamily "papilionoideae" which includes many foods - alfalfa, beans (kidney, lima, pinto, soy, etc), black-eyed pea, chickpea, green pea, kudzu, lentil, licorice, carob, lupine, fenugreek, and peanut. As you can see, it would be quite a large net to cast to eliminate all of these foods. With the use of any new substance, I tell clients to monitor for response and reaction - is it working and are there any side-effects? Hope this helps.

Warmly,
Sharon Knorr, BSMT, ASCP, IBCLC
