I do not know who funded the study.  The probiotics were being given to the
mother.  They are such things as acidophilus, friendly bacteria.  I will
try to find the original paper to find out.

I really hadn't thought of the funding.  I am glad to know the info. from
it, and you are right we do need more info about the original study too !
