I know that we say to have mom nurse baby on the affected side during a
bought of mastitis. So my question is, what makes it ok? Meaning, if mom is
expressing yellow or green pus is this not bad for the baby? If she is
expressing these things should she pump on that side and not nurse on that
side? The thought of eating yellow pus just grosses me out. What are the
thoughts on this?
