I don't think there would be any problem with eating crabs or any other
seafood while breastfeeding.  But its important to know where you are
buying/eating out.
Crabs have to be very fresh and cooked while still alive.  Cruel but
true.  I wouldn't eat any seafood that smelled off or wasn't cooked
completely.  Some people are allergic to shellfish.  If the bf mother
suspects there is a sensitivity, she obviously shouldn't eat it.
