Honey is not recommended for babies under 1 year of age because it may contain botulism spores.  Older people can disable the spores with stomach acid.  Babies have lower stomach acidity and cannot disable the spores.  Honey has been implicated in causing botulism in infants.  I looked up Medihoney on the internet.  It seems to be just plain honey and perhaps contains botulism spores.  Therefore I would not recommend putting it on nipples to help heal wounds because the baby could ingest botulism spores.
