I, too, feel very uncomfortable with the term "c-section".  Many years
ago, I had an instructor who used to say "You don't section a woman...you
section a grapefruit." (Ginny Burns)
I always use the term cesarean birth experience...a bit wordy, but
nevertheless, reinforces the fact that it is a birth experience.
