The mother could try a nursing supplementer. There are some already
manufactured and there are some that are easily made by threading a #5
French feeding tube (or larger if needed for fast flow) through a bottle
nipple to anchor it w/ the end into the bottle of ebm or formula. Jack
Newman has good info on creating one. Anyway, the baby could take all
feedings at breast w/ a fast flow and this would help mom's supply by
keeping baby at breast more, she could still use compression. Also post feed
pumping if she can to further increase supply and provide ebm for use in the
supplementer. She could try herbs as well.
