Hi Lisa ~

I'd suggest one place to start may be the AAP's Clinical Practice
Guidelines re: Management of Hyperbilirubinemia in the Newborn Infant 35 or
More Weeks of Gestation (Subcommittee on Hyperbilirubinemia, 2004), which
addresses all sorts of causes for neonatal jaundice. It's available at:

Good to be familiar with it.
