I was behind on posts but thought I'd add this--our pediatrician prescribes
this to bf babies because vit A,D, and C are not as easily absorbed through
breast milk.  I've never given it to any of my three kids but that's what she
says.  I make sure I have enough in what I eat and we have a lot of sunny
weather.
