I am NOT going to get into a debate about evolution vs. creationsim on
Lactnet (not after last week's fiasco after I reported what I heard on Rush
Limbaugh's show). However, there is, of course, plenty of evidence that
evolution occurs and continues to occur, and *scientists* rely on what they
can test and observe and study with their senses, not on supernatural
explanations that cannot be tested or falsified. The theory of evolution
that explains the relationships among all the living and dead plants and
animals on the planet has withstood the test of time -- it has been
challenged scientifically for more than 100 years, and has never been
disproven or falsified. Remember that Lactnet is an international list, and
that not only do we have many non-Christians on the list, we also try to be
*scientifically* accurate in the information we give to women to help them
breastfeed. Otherwise, we could all just make up whatever information we
wanted. If you are interested in more information about the evolution of
mammary glands, I suggest you read Dr. Blackburn's articles.
