Will you actually do this on a strangers baby?

Actually, if I do it I do wear a glove, which is more different than
the breast, but it gives me a chance to discuss it with parents and
I always mention that while I use a glove, they would only need to
be sure their hands have been washed.  Even a gloved knuckle still
beats a pacifier in my opinion because it doesn't hit the back of
the mouth immediately like a pacifier.  I really feel that that is
one point of confusion for babies.  So many after having a pacifier
will latch, but then seem very puzzled like they are waiting to feel
the nipple touch the back of the mouth and not realizing that it
will get there, but takes a couple sucks for that to happen.
