Jan, please don't think I've taken complete leave of my senses, but... I
remember several years ago reading about emersing the toxemic woman in H2O
such as a pool or bath to help the fluid move out of her tissues.  Of
course I can't remember when or where I read this, but it's worth a try.

I'm not sure how the swelling can be attributed to the pitocin if she was
being induced for pre eclampsia and was already holding fluids.  What's the
