Has anyone heard of or have experience with the use of this "product" for
treating yeast? I cannot find ANY unbiased information on it, everything I
find comes from companies trying to sell it. It's extremely expensive
(around $30 for a one-ounce bottle). My understanding is that it's similar
in makeup to hydrogen peroxide, and the theory behind its use is that it
provides oxygen to anaerobic bacteria and yeast, which kills them. Seems a
bit too simplistic to me. I couldn't find anything in the archives here, nor
did anything turn up on a Medline search.

I've been working with a group of moms at breastfeeding.com who are all
dealing with some really persistent cases of thrush, and this product has
come up a few times. As far as I know, none of them have tried it, but some
of them are getting pretty desperate for relief and I'd hate to think of
them wasting their money on a useless gimmick, which I suspect this product
is.
