Alison,
Your response to fusion of cranial sutures was timely. I have just stareted
listening to Dr. Upledger's tapes and I find the information therein to be
fascinating. My partner and colleague at the Healing Arts Assoc. is a
massage therapist who does cranial/sacral work. When she first gave me the
tapes I would come into work the next day and tell her about some bit of
information that answered the why to certain sucking problems. I knew what
was wrong, how ot might be fixed (which is why she thought I'd be interested
in the tapes in the first place) but now I understood why.

Dr. Upledger is very articulate. He definitely knows his way around the
skull and spine.
He most definitely is not a guru type. So thanks for speaking up.

Oh yes my six year old son is undergoing cranial/sacral work to correct a
mild speech difficulty. The improvement after his first 30 minute session is
so remarkable that even his teacher wanted to know who his very *talented*
speech therapist was.
