A nipple assessment isn't the most important thing to do or miss...I've
worked with women who have "perfect" nipples (appearance-wise) that baby
has trouble with as well as babes who latch on fine to an "inverted or
flat" nipple. How about those epidural nipples that look fine till you
try to evert them and they retract?! Those are my biggest challenge and
you can't tell until AFTER delivery. Please share your ideas on this
one.
