I nursed my daughter through all her immunizations. She cried a very little bit. The nurses were floored, they said nobody has ever done this! Some even commented they were going to suggest to others. 
For me, it was the way to go!

New article in The Journal for Nurse Practitioners!    Amazingly neither of the authors is IBCLC!  reviews 6 studies of pain in infants.  Conclusion: "Also, no harm has been found to come from its use [BF during imunizations] and it is readily available and cost-effective, therefore making it a very logical choice in the outpatient setting."
