As a postscript to the postings on "how long is it normal to still have "milk"
after weaning" at my annual exam yesterday I mentioned to my doc that at 48+,
having weaned 11 years ago, I could still express droplets from each breast.
Her response: "Of course you can, it's your JOB.  You live, breathe, walk and
talk breastfeeding".  Seemed perfectly normal to her. The only thing she might
want to work me up for is "a vacation". My nursing student on rounds with me
today asked about relactation. Is it possible, how long does it take?  Well, for
goofy old ladies like me (and a good portion of the rest of the Lactnetters) not
too long...
