Time International, September 1, 1997:

1. NOT BAD TO THE BONE For decades women who breast-fed their infants
were urged to supplement their diet with calcium to protect agains bone
loss. A new study says they don't need to. (So the usual 800 mg. is to
be recommended?)

2. BUT NOT A DROP TO DRINK Many mothers of infantsdon't know that it
might be dangerous to give their babies water regularly in addition to
breast milk or formula. Young infants are unable to filter water properly
through their systems. (Nurses also don't know this!!)

And, a few weeks ago they did a "Health Report" (the size of above) that
co-sleeping just might cause SIDS. I wrote to them about this, but there
has been no reply.
