A mom I'm working with is taking Pentasa for colitis.  She takes 250mgs 8 times a day.  the ped has info from Hale's book and has been comfortable with this.  The baby is growing great and has experienced no problems.  Now the mom is having a bad bout and needs to increase the dosage to 12 times a day with the possibility of Rowasa enemas.  Mom is getting nervous about the dosage and relatives are saying I can't believe you're taking this while breastfeeding etc.  I'm trying to get my hands on Briggs for more info but anyone have info or opinion on this?  Thanks.
