My darling Cath has had an absolutely horrific time, and it broke my heart to
know she was so ill. In fact I was grieved to see someone I loved going through
this, considering all the support I had given women trying to avoid this.

A doctor at the mat hosp checked it out, and said it was not an abscess. However
the lump was still there. However, guess what? The GP had prescribed the wrong
ab!

And a hospital LC has talked her through it, and told her to come back in 48hrs
if it had not healed. So my mind was more at rest then.

My sister and I decided it's a miracle anyone bfs, as help is so hard to come
by. I even felt that she was paying a very heavy price for bf. My niece didn't -
but I did. I must say I questioned a lot of things over the wkd.
I pulled out every favour I could, and my niece and her husband know hospital
doctors - which helps.

I could not sleep last night fearing that my passing suggestion of massage was being taken too literally, and might cause even more problems.
And my own knowledge was put to the test as well. I did not know i knew so little about mastitis. I feel a bit better now.
