I am perplexed. One of my corporate moms (permission to post) has been
back to work for 8 weeks. She has been using a 5 day rotation of her
refridgerated expressed milk. In the last 3 days she has had to throw away
39oz because it had soured. It smelled so bad that her husband actually
vomited when he took a sniff. Nothing else in the fridge has spoiled and
the temperature within the unit has remained the same.

I questioned her about changes in her diet, supplements, medications,
etc... No change in anything. Can this really be caused be lipase? Has
anyone experienced such a quick change to rancid milk after it has been
fine for months?
