I know - my point was she made it appear as if she was speaking from
an informed position. The research she used - not cited, but you
would not expect citations in a consumer journal, more's the pity -
was cherry picked and fileted and mis-interpreted. But to an
untutored ear, the article sounds fine.

She also uses the foolish argument that you cannot tell by looking at
a bunch of five year olds which one of them was breastfed - thus
bringing in the very gullible reader who somehow thinks this is a
humdinger of debating point....I always want to say 'you can't tell
which of them has an acoholic or drug addicted parent, either, or
which one is being abused, or which one's parents never use car seat
belts.....'

I don't know if she also uses the 'I wasn't breastfed and I turned
out just fine' without reading it again, but she may do.

All her arguments are 100 per cent specious, but because of the
pseudo-sciency bits she uses, some people will nod their heads and
agree :(
