Hi All,
To chime in on this note, I must say that I wish every woman had a hubby
like my own.
In fact, I use him as an example to the fathers I talk to when we discuss
just what their newborn baby and wife need.

My hubby took over ALL household chores, duties, etc, when I was going
through my BF hell with baby #2. When the hell was over, he continued to do
the majority of these things simply because he knew I needed the help and
appreciated it greatly. This help included (but was not limited to) cooking
dinner every night, cutting my food, doing the laundry (put a load in in the
morning, put it away at night), bathing the baby, cleaning the house, etc.

With pregnancy #3, he did the same thing, although the pregnancy was easy
and I did not need the help. :) Nice guy, huh? After baby #3 (PJ) was
born, he again took over all household duties, and to this day, with PJ
being 21.5 mo old, Dave STILL comes home from work and fixes me dinner, cuts
my food (if PJ is BF), does the dishes, helps out with the housework, etc.
He is one amazing guy! I wouldn't trade him for anything.

My girlfriend is pregnant with twins, she is supposed to be on bedrest. Her
hubby NEVER did anything to help her with the household duties before the
pregnancy, and he is griping about having to help out now that she is on
bedrest. As a result, she is doing way more than she should be, and is at
risk for premature delivery. I continue to try to explain to him how he
needs to be doing all this stuff for her right now and why, but he simply
will not do it, and tells her to stop whining. :/ Sad...

You know how the talk shows go all out to do shows on hubbys who are jerks?
I'd like to see them, just once, do a show on guys like my husband. Now
they deserve a medal...

WHo just likes to brag a bit about her hubby (and knows how lucky she is to
have him!)
