Hello fellow Lactnetters!

Please share any advice regarding attendance at a lactation conference sponsored by a formula company. The speaker is highly regarded in the lactation field.
Would an IBCLC be in violation of the WHO code by attending such a conference?

Also, regarding documentation of patient phone calls to a hospital based lactation warm line, is it sufficient to document in the log book or should each phone call be entered in the patients electronic medical record? Legally, is either safer?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be ghfbeatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Amy Wagner, BS, RNC, CCES, IBCLC
