Hi Deann,
 
 
Yiks! ....Even if there were electricity available I would not want to put  
a pump on the nipple you describe.
 
Hopefully you can teach this new mom effective manual/hand expression in a  
way that does not cause further nipple trauma.  And, consider saline  soaks.
 
 
Hope that nipple is not as detached as it looked in the phone pic you  
received.
