What was the baby's birthweight? Some babies that are SGA (small for
gestational age) will have a dramatic weight gain after birth. If he was
AGA, I does seem like a very dramatic weight gain although I wouldn't
necessarily be concerned about it. It is just as easy to overfeed a bottle
fed baby.
I'd also like to know the feeding pattern. One breast or both breasts at
each time. Does the baby have any symptoms of reflux: large spit ups etc.
In that case he might be overfed because of his suckling need.
