I hope you all don't mind my jumping in here: I am generally a fascinated
lurker. I have three diabetic children, two of whom are girls who tend to
get thrush from time to time. In my experience of over sixteen years, I
have never heard of thrush being an indication of diabetes especially in
small babies. There is a greater degree of possible infection of vaginal
thrush for diabetic girls because their urine may carry higher amounts of
sugar if they are not too well controlled. IMVHO this sounds like another
case of "lack of proper knowledge" on the part of people who should be
taking the trouble to get their facts straight.
