Hi,

I have been a reader on Lacnet for a long time and am
always learning something, this is my first post.

I am trying to find the link to a research study I read
somewhere in the past year but can't find by searching
the archives or by a Google search.

The study I believe was done in California and involved
training doulas to put babies skin to skin at birth.
The finding had to do with rates of breastfeeding
actually increasing over time above moms stated
intentions to breastfeed.

I am hoping to reference the study in an inservice I am
doing for the WIC staff in our county next week on
building a more Breastfeeding Friendly Environment.

If anyone has the link or any other information they
would like to pass along that might be helpful you can
email me off list.
