If you have someone who is trained in lymphatic breast care, it will
probably help a lot.  The lymphatic would keep inflammation to a minimum
while involution occurs.  Probably several treatments would be needed.  This
would be in addition to ice, effective feeding and lack of symptoms of
infection.
