I have a personal theory, only borne out in clinical experience. I think
epidurals do a double whammy on baby boys. When I was hosp LC from 86-91,
over and over it was baby boys, rarely a girl. I haven't got a clue why,
just maybe that boys aren't as neurodevelopmentally dev as girls at birth
and it doesn't take much to screw them up. Sure hope if any studies are
done, sex of baby is one of the variables. Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
