I had always heard if no restrictions were put on sex, then nursing
ought to be ok...but am not an expert on the subject.

I can share that I did get some minor cramping during some nursing
sessions, but not all the time, when I was pregnant. The day i gave
birth, my daughter had not nursed in over 24 hours for diverse
reasons...so it was definately not nursing as far as I could figure,
that would have started off the labour.

I got more contractions from bending over, needing to pee at night (I
had a contraction every time I got up to do that at night!) and other
things than from nursing. The contractions I got while nursing were
minor compared to many others during the pregnancy.
