Although it is theoretically possible to sensitize a baby to peanut
protein through breastmilk, there is no way of knowing how a child
became sensitized.  It is just as theoretically possible doing this
during the pregnancy.  Anyone who blames breastfeeding with the
information at his/her disposal, as with these allergists, is shooting
the breeze.  In fact, there is good reason to believe that the small
amount of foreign proteins that appear in the milk during breastfeeding
actually desensitize the baby to these proteins later in life.  Once
again "breastfeeding is guilty until proved otherwise..."

The mother warning other mothers is sad.  Just goes to show that the
"information highway" is a two edged sword.
