I wanted to let everyone know about a great book I just finished. I would
suggest it to anyone who works with mothers and babies. The book is "Our
Babies, Ourselves" by Meritdeth Small. It's a thoughtful look at raising our
babies across cultures. I loves how it was written. A beautiful look at how
different people approach the age old phase in our lives of childrearing. It
has many references to James McKenna's work. Please comment if you've also
read and enjoyed this book. I would be curious how our own Katherine
Dettwyler thinks. Again, if you can get your hands on this book it will
become a favorite.
