When my daughter was 4 months old she was continuously exposed to
chicken pox at her babysitter's ....I was back to work and she was
breastfeeding and took bottles of EBM while I was away. I thought she
got one "poc"(????) by her naval but was never sure that it was as she
was not sick at all. Her brothers had chicken pox very badly when she
was 3 and 8. I also had neighbors purposely breathe on her while they
had chicken pox but to no avail...she never got them. Finally, last
year, at the age of 14, I had her varicella titer checked and it showed
she had indeed had a case way back when. If she had not, I was going to
have her get the Varivax vaccine...
