I've had good luck with local newspapers and magazines explaining that the
politically correct spelling is one word - and that making it two words
means you are out of the loop. An example would be calling someone hard of
hearing instead of hearing impaired. There must be other examples too - I"m
just too brain challenged this morning to think of one!
