I have received a correction regarding my post about the Lebanon and Israel flags winding up sifde by side.  Others who had been in the flag parade had indicated that the overall order was random, but I received an e-mail from one of the two involved that they had deliberately positioned themselves in line so they would wind up side by side when the line "peeled off" in hopes that this would send a signal of a hope for peace.  FYI, flags were not necessarily held by persons from the country represented and I do not know if the women holding these 2 flags were from either country involved.  At any rate, it was a quick vingette that brought tears to my eyes.  I just wish more had noticed it as it occurred.
