supplies advertise the same way. why doesn't medella have info pads, and
clipboards to give out to doctors offices<

I understand the revulsion you felt at seeing al the items splashed with
formula company logos in the doctor's office. However I just wanted to say
(in the middle of packing and on the cusp of going no mail) that I would
find items in a doctor's office with pump company logos pretty much just as
obnoxious. I feel sure we have had lactnet discussions around this and
similar issues more than once and I *know* that not everyone agrees with me.
But I just have to say *again* that my view is that we will not promote,
support or protect breastfeeding by seeking different corporate protectors,
but by realising, in the spirit of the WHO code, that this area or
breastfeeding is *too important* for babies' health and well-being, and
women's health and well-being to be left at the mercies of the 'free
market'. Companies with an interest in the outcomes of women's feeding
decisions should not have access to women or their families via the health
care system.
