Reading Bonnies post on this spurred a question to me. She
ststes: " However, I am wondering how much better finger
feeding is
than bottle feeding. I know it involves skin rather than
plastic, but we are
still inserting a discreet object into the baby's mouth. Is it
worth going
after. Right now almost any baby for whom it is felt
supplementation is
necessary is given a bottle. Bonnie"

Arent you supposed to wear gloves when you finger feed? and
they are rubber/plactic? This is the way I was taught finger
feeding..... or are you reffering to the mom doing the feed and
not the health care professional?
