Maria,
Is there more to this story? Is it a true, milk-filled blister that covers a
pore? Does a blocked duct or mastitis follow it, or is it just the nipple
tip that hurts? What has mom been doing for it-- how does it clear before
re-cycling?

I think I've posted in the past about a mom I worked with who had recurring
blisters that were followed by plugs and sometimes mastitis. She cycled
round and round until we pulled off the excess skin of the blister and
dabbed on a little antibiotic ointment-- that finally seemed to end it all.
