Ruth,

No I don't think he will read it.

There is a concept of "catch up growth" that is commonly believed in my
circle of nurses and physicians. I have NO documentation for this, nor have
I searched for any. The idea is a baby who has lost weight or gained
inappropriately slowly over a period of time will temporarily gain larger
than normal amounts of weight when adequately fed.

Unless this baby has a medical condition that presents issues of cardiac or
renal overload I'd say he won't be able to find anything to document his
claim either, not would he try.

I'd just bounce the "catch up growth" phrase around a bit and not bother
with trying to convince the fool, whoops my backspace isn't working, I meant
foolish fellow. :)

Carla
Who is not in the mood for suffering fools today despite the fact that
physicians in my area have been especially helpful lately. I think the
Idaho judge did my patience in. As I sit here typing I'm watching on the
Today Show (morning news/talk ) a young lady of 9 years who was summoned
for Jury Duty. Her parents took her to court and she was sent back home
despite her wish to serve. Now I feel a bit better. It is just that life
is a big comedy hour.
