 I agree, see an endocrinologist about the high level of calcium.  The parathyroid gland is the major factor in the maintenance of the serum calcium level within a narrow range.  We don't 'produce' calcium.  We  get it from foods.  Even during pg and lactation when more calcium is needed, our bodies do amazing things to keep the narrow balance.
And again, ask neuro for his proof that breastfeeding can make her 'produce' too much calcium :-) Maybe if we question more we will get better answers.  Pat in SNJ

Personal note: my daughter just went thru this, one of her parathyroids was going bonkers and so was her calcium level (High).
