I am few days behind here and I'm gonna go out ona limb and tell you my
personal experience. I have three children and have had three miscarriages.
My miscarriages have all been due to low progesterone. Tell your client
that if her MD knows she has this problem then he'd/she'd better get in gear
and get her some progesterone, I have taken the shots, daily, or the
suppositories (in my opinion the most effective), or the Prometrium (sp!).
It will have an effect on her milk supply probably faster than if she was
making enough progesterone on her own. I would suggest taking it until at
least 14 weeks, usually the time when the placenta kicks in and produces
it's own progesterone. I feel well versed in this area, I just got tired of
loosing babies. It makes my heart sick to know that I am really a mom of 6
but only have 3 to show for it. In my opinion out of all the treatments I
have taken (and I have done then all), the suppositories are key. They seem
to be absorbed quicker, last longer, something? But with the two
pregnancies that I used the suppositories alone or in conjunction with
another progesterone method I kept those babies. I did however spot with
all but my last pregnancy and so that can mean nothing, some women just have
cervixes that shed cells. If she looses this baby, then I would suggest
changing HCP before she gets PG again, and opting for a midwife, either CPM
or CNM, in my experience, they seem to view the situation with more urgency.
The progesterone needs to be started BEFORE she gets pg, like mid cycle.

If you client has email, she is welcome to email me privately for more info,
also I got a lot of research info from WebMD.
