I'm overwhelmed! While I have always responded to each e-mail question or
comment received, it is becoming increasingly difficult to do so considering
the number of e-mails I am receiving on the topic of breastfeeding. While I
enjoy reading the comments from others who share your beliefs, I may have to
suspend my policy of responding to every inquiry. I will reiterate to you
Ms. Suarez something which I have told others. Just because I have been
"bombarded" with e-mails requesting that we produce a check depicting
breastfeeding, that does not mean that we will one day produce such a check.
We are and will certainly continue looking into the possibility of producing
such a check, but I make no promises. While I am a part of making the
decisions concerning new check designs, I am only one voice in a group of
people who ultimately make these decisions. Therefore, if it makes sense for
our company, we will do it. If it does not, we won't. Time will tell. That
being said, I appreciate the viewpoints shared by everyone who has e-mailed
me. I will certainly keep your e-mail address if down the road we decide to
go ahead with this project and are looking for design ideas. Thank you for
segregating Custom Direct from the other check printers for continuing your
drive to have a check produced depicting breastfeeding. You are part of a
vocal group, and so far it has been quite an education for me! You know
where to find me if you have any further thoughts which you would like to
